Desire Index is an educational tool that uses research-backed assessments and AI-generated analysis to help individuals and couples understand patterns of desire in their relationships. It is not therapy, medical advice, counseling, or a clinical diagnosis.
Desire Index is not a healthcare provider, licensed therapist, or medical professional. The AI analyst is an artificial intelligence that generates responses based on relationship science research. Its analysis may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your specific situation. You should not rely on it as a substitute for professional help.

You must create an account to access your results. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. One account per person. You must be at least 18 years old to use this service.
If you invite a partner, you are responsible for obtaining their informed consent before sharing the invite link. Both partners must voluntarily choose to participate. Do not share someone's invite link without their knowledge, use someone else's assessment results without permission, or pressure anyone into taking the assessment.
Live mediation sessions are AI-facilitated conversations between connected partners. The AI mediator is not a licensed couples therapist. Both partners can see all messages in a mediation session. Either partner can end a session at any time. If a mediation session becomes harmful or distressing, end it immediately and seek professional support.
One-time purchases (Solo Consultation, Couples Analysis) provide permanent access to the features described at the time of purchase. Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually and can be cancelled at any time through the Stripe billing portal. Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of your billing period and keep any one-time purchase benefits.
Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis within 7 days of purchase. Contact us to request a refund.
All analysis, recommendations, and insights generated by the AI are provided "as is" without warranty of accuracy. The AI may cite research findings — these citations reflect its training data and may not be perfectly accurate. The AI does not have access to your full life context and cannot replace the judgment of a qualified professional.
You agree not to use Desire Index to harass, manipulate, or coerce a partner or any other person. You agree not to attempt to extract harmful, explicit, or abusive content from the AI. You agree not to misrepresent AI-generated analysis as professional clinical advice.
Desire Index and its operators are not liable for any decisions, actions, or outcomes resulting from the use of this service. This includes relationship decisions, emotional distress, or any consequences of acting on AI-generated analysis. Use this tool at your own discretion and supplement it with professional guidance when appropriate.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
